Family Reunion Portrait St. Augustine Florida
Getting together with friends and family doesn't always happen as often as we would like it to. We all lead busy lives and sometimes forget to stop and smell the roses (and give our grandma a big hug). Organizing a large family reunion portrait can be a great way to capture everyone being together, especially in wonderful Saint Augustine Florida. However, even in beautiful sunny Florida, it does sometimes rain. When the summer months arrive it is sometimes more often than not a constant 40% chance of rain. In the first image below, we had approximately seven minutes to setup, pose, and photograph this 25 plus family reunion portrait before the heavens opened up and the lightning surrounded us. Having years of experience posing large groups of people and using professional lighting equipment, allowed us to move quickly, efficiently, and capture the image.
Photoshopping Family Portraits
Just as we said before, getting everyone together at the SAME time can be very difficult. In this situation, two of the family members would not be able to make the first photo session when everyone would be in town. We returned later to photograph the two missing relatives to insert them into the larger group photo. Believe it or not, we were confronted with an even worse storm front and again only had a few moments to work. Having not planned for this situation ahead of time, we never promise being able to pull off such a feat, but we always love it when things come together, and we are able to exceed our client's expectations with a little photo magic.
