ST AUGUSTINE BEACH FAMILY REUNION PHOTOGRAPHY
The Johnston Family contacted us to capture photographs of their family reunion vacation. This was an amazing bunch with six kids and six adults. We met the group at their Ocean Gallery vacation spot. The Ocean Gallery was a great location for family photos. We began shooting in the shaded grass, and then as the light softened as we got closer to sunset, moved out onto the beach. We always love when we can showcase different backdrops. If you are interested in beach photos, we like to recommend locations that have greenery as well as sand dunes and ocean. The Johnston Family did a fabulous job with wardrobe! I always suggest coordinating but not matching, as well as picking complimentary colors, or sticking to shades and patterns in the same color family. I love how the Johnston's chose shades of blue AND mixed in different patterns. It was perfect styling by Julie Johnston :) We had lots of fun with this crew, especially when the kids were set free on the beach, where we caught priceless shots of the cousins all playing together, truly enjoying the moment. From races, to playing in the sand and surf, we loved capturing these photographs for the entire family to enjoy!
